12-Days And Counting!!!
*Here is a "to-do" list of our next couple of days:
5/18: Rotary Scholarship acceptance lunch at the Lafayette
5/20: Senior PROM!
5/21: Misty's Graduation party!
5/22: Senior Recognition assembly at the HS
5/25: Track banquet and Senior recognitions
5/23-5/25: Senior exams = stressed out, grumpy Misty! ;-(
5/28: GRADUATION!!! {Whoa! The Big Day!!}
~Yes! I am just alittle stressed out!!! But all in all I think I will be OK as long as I'm staying busy, which I am of course!
I think once this is all over and done with that it will hit me like a ton of bricks that "the life" I have been so used to for the last 14- or so years is over and a new chapter has begun.
As I always say, "You cannot control what life throws at you but only your reaction to it and how you deal with it!", so I am trying to look at everything in a positive sense and that everything has a reason.
I remember, as a young mother, the things that seemed so important at the time, the things we placed such value on and how trivial they seem now. If I had it ALL to do over again, {which I wouldn't if given the choice!} I probably would have not stressed on the little things so much, argued with other parents {Haha! At least the ones that really didn't deserve my time and effort!!}, and spent more time just enjoying the simple things! There's really not too much I would have changed because I think everything happens for a reason and in the longrun it all makes sense. We've come a long way to get to this point in our lives and sometimes the road has been abit rocky but we've always managed to survive and make the best of it!
