~Just a few pics of our day spent checking out "Atalaya" and Huntington Beach...Misty has better ones which I will post later!

We had a really nice visit despite the blazing heat that day and the fact that everyone else wore their swimsuits except me so I was abit miserable.

I managed to take my mind off the heat while laughing at Misty getting knocked up onto the beach by the huge waves and chasing crabs into their holes in the sand.

Stephen managed to bury himself up to his butt and then couldn't get out so that was amusing for awhile also! {LOL}

~BEACH SILLINESS!!!~

~OK..."Beach Silliness" totally describes these photos!
I think the first couple were taken the day Misty was sick and spent the entire day/night on the couch inside the condo {sad face!!}...Denny and I just sat out on the beach all day talking about silly stuff and getting sunburnt! It was actually very memorable!

Then there are the "Jello shots on the beach" pics that are priceless!! Haha!! I never realized how good Jello tasted...especially if it has abit of a ZING! to it!!
{This was soon followed by "Margarita Monday" that evening which unfortunately I do not remember much of except for some of the pics Misty took after Mama hit her limit and which I will post when Denny uploads them all!}

~This little fellow wanted to get into ALL my beach photos and would seem to move into most every direction I was taking the picture!
What a camera HOG!! Haha!!

He was actually adorable and quite interesting to study as he "worked" the beach, watching for people to drop snacks and for small crabs to wash in that he would run and grab up!

Our Condo At Garden City Beach

~Here are a few pictures of our condo at Garden City beach! It was actually quite nice even though we were wayy up on the eleventh floor and I don't like heights OR elevators! {I managed to survive though!}

I can see why Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area is jokingly called the "Redneck Rivieara" {HA!} although the Garden City beach is so much nicer and laid back!

My favorite picture is the second to the last which I took the first morning as I sat on the balcony watching the sunrise! Everyone else was fast asleep and I sat out there for hours with this huge, shit-eating grin on my face! TOTAL BLISS!!! {Someone probably would have thought I was nuts but I could have cared less!}

The dolphins make their daily trek around 7am and then back again about an hour or so later and I was ready with the binoculars almost every morning!

When Girls Don't Put Out!

*Thought this was hilarious even though I would surely kill Denny if he ever did it to me!!*

"When girls don't put out!!"
{ This was written by a guy... it's pretty damn smart. Ladies -- Have a sense of humor!}

I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE:
One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed.
Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said, "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...
"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"
Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, "Lets get a pair for each outfit."

We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.
I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey."
She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."
Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?"
I then said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either....but at least that woman knows I'm smarter than her.

The lesson is: "don't work your partner for all that they're good for". If favors come, then that's just dandy, but to expect that kind of treatment is a sign of unbalance. This lesson works for friends too, and family relations. Having a friendship or being in a family does not equate to "Belonging to a free-for-all debt/repayment cycle". If you do me favors now or buy me gifts now, thanks. And guess what, unless we agree to it at that time, I won't owe you later for it!
