"Aliens" In Our Backyard!!!

Denny and I noticed these mushrooms in the backyard that seemed to grow there almost overnight!!
We were laughing about them and I said I thought they were "really" space aliens {camouflaged as mushrooms} that landed during the night!!

My "Ornry" Boy!

~Sammy and I were pretending to be "Diva's" this morning and spent several hours lying in bed, having "our" coffee, preening, watching TV and dozing!

He enjoys crawling under the covers to snuggle with my feet and seems to delight in tickling them and hearing me scream! {Haha! I hate to have my feet touched!}

Then, it is time to sit on my leg for awhile and preen himself, watch some TV, followed by exploration of my headboard and a better view of the room!

Misty In College!

~The first picture is of Misty's dorm room at OSU! We spent about 5-hours unpacking everything, helping her decorate and get settled in. I think it looks pretty cozy!

~The second picture is her OWL group! She is the one in the purple shirt halfway up in the tree and her room mate is right above her in the brown with glasses.

Misty took this photo on one of the many times we ate at "Sam's Corner", a little old-fashioned type of restaurant that has the most awesome hotdogs, cheese fries and draft beer on the beach! {Not to mention wonderful breakfasts and 5-cent coffee!!! MMMMMMMM!!!}

Return To "Atalaya"

~We returned to "Atalaya" once again and enjoyed a sunny afternoon spent exploring it's unique architechure and grandeur!
Afterwards, we strolled the sand path down to the beach where Denny, Misty and Stephen took a swim while I chased sand crabs around!

Margarita Monday @The Beach!

~So...we HAD to have a Margarita night duirng our beach stay and what better night than "Monday"!

It all started after a couple of drinks at dinner, followed by mixing up a batch of Margarita's that we drank from plastic cups on the beach {where else???}...Then, a 'slight' Tequila shot taking contest {Misty and Denny} where we discovered that 2 or 3 shots is totally enough! {lightweights? YES!}

And then...well, I discovered that I cannot do a split anymore without falling over! {especially when drinking excessive amounts of alcohol!}
And lastly...my favorite picture of all was my "ghetto-pimp-daddy" husband striking a pose!
He looks like those kids in the Mall we make fun of!! Hehe!!

Dinner at Flo's!

~"Flo's Place" is an amazing little seafood/Creole style restaurant we went to in Murrell's Inlet one night during our vacation! They had really GREAT food and we all got Mardi Gras beads without even having to flash anything! {Or anyone! Haha!}

A Good Day For A Hike In The Woods!

~Today we escaped the house and took a day to get back in touch with nature! YAYY!!

We walked the 2.1 mile trail at Jackson City Park in Vienna, WV and had a great time, stopping along the way to take a few photos of our adventure!

For me, there is nothing finer than a day spent on an adventure with my two loves and I hope these are the memories that Misty will always remember and cherish the most as time goes on!
