The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow

Misty has many talents and one that has always made me proud is her ability to get up on stage and perform in front of a crowd of people! This is one of her earliest performances in her third grade talent show at Putnam School. She lipsynced to the song "Tomorrow" from the popular Broadway play "Annie" and every now and then you could hear her 'real' voice in the mic belting it out with such enthusiasm that she got a standing ovation at the end!
I really think she portrayed "Annie" quite well in that red dress and belt we found at Goodwill that I cut down to fit her! And the white socks, black 'Mary Janes', heart locket and of course Misty's curly locks completed the look!

Misty was also in two MOVP Theatre musicals during her teenage years.
The first was "The Little Princess" in which she played "Ermengarde St. John" and the second was "Flapper!", a musical set in the 'roaring 20's' era in which she played a vibrant girl named "Daisy".
