*"I put my life in danger and came here because I feel this country is in danger. People are worried. We will bring the country out of this crisis."*
Those are the words spoken shortly before she was assassinated by a suicide bomber during a rally in Rawalpindi, near Islamabad on December 27, 2007.
This was a courageous, strong and intelligent woman who achieved so much in her lifetime. Now the world will never know what promise she could have brought for the future of her homeland.
When will the killing of innocents stop?
