New Painting!

*I decided to try a "Frida Kahlo" (http://www.fridakahlofans.com/index.html) inspired painting....



*I was going to paint the angel wings coming out of the heart a very light blue but decided on green at the last moment! The little "skeleton bird" on the shoulder is reminiscent of the Mexican "Day of the Dead" figurines and paintings.
Kind of creepy but not too bad for a first try!

*The banner across the top reads: "My Heart Is Broken" in Spanish.
